Exciting young half-back Joey Walsh enters his second season in the Sea Eagles top 30 after making his NRL debut in the final round of the 2025 season.
A local junior who attended school across the road from 4 Pines Park at St Augustine’s College, Walsh entered the field for his first taste of first grade against the Warriors, greeted by a raucous welcome from the Manly faithful.
Northern Beaches born and bred, Walsh played his junior footy with the North Curl Curl Knights and the Narraweena Hawks.
An elite player at schoolboy level, Walsh was the Australian U18s rugby flyhalf and captain in 2023 and was highly sought after by the Australian Rugby Union and other NRL clubs.
