Biography:

Jake Simpkin enjoyed his most consistent season yet in the NRL in 2025, playing in 22 of a possible 24 games in first grade.

A quality dummy half, Simpkin joined the Sea Eagles from the Wests Tigers in 2024, where he made 43 first grade appearance across four seasons, including his NRL debut in 2021.

Hailing from Toowoomba in Southern Queensland, Jake came through the Brisbane Broncos Academy, representing Queensland Under 18s in 2019 and gaining selection for the Australian Prime Minister's XIII in 2022.
