Biography:

One of the Sea Eagles key signings ahead of the 2026 season, Kobe Hetherington joins the Club as an NRL Premiership-winner after helping Brisbane Broncos win the title in 2025.

A Rockhampton junior, Kobe played 105 games in five seasons at Brisbane and was the only player to feature in all 27 games for the Broncos in 2025.

Hetherington has taken his game to a high level of consistency since transitioning from hooker to middle forward and has a tough edge to his game.

Kobe is the son of former Queensland and Australia hooker, Jason, who was a member of the Bulldogs' premiership-winning team that defeated Manly in the 1995 Grand Final.
