Rd 7 Tarsha Gale Preview vs Bears

A very happy and confident Sea Eagles team will be looking to further cement a place in the upcoming Tarsha Gale Cup finals when they play a home game at Blacktown on Saturday.

Under Coach Keith Hanley, this very exciting, skillful, and talented team has recorded three wins and two draws from their five games to sit in fourth place on the ladder.

There are three rounds remaining in the U19s competition with the top six teams contesting the finals.

"The team is in a positive frame of mind. We've shown a real desire to work hard for each other and improve the small parts of our game,'' Hanley said.

A side with plenty of flair and strike power across the park, the Sea Eagles returned to the winners circle last Saturday with a 20-18 victory over the Bulldogs at Chester Hill following two consecutive draws.

Hanley nominated Lili Boyle, Alianna Tonuu, Indiana Russell-Lia, Sandra Tunufai, and Chelsea Smyth as players who have stepped up for the team in recent weeks.

The Sea Eagles now take on the North Sydney Bears at HE Laybutt Field, Blacktown, on Saturday at 11.30am.

The Bears have yet to win a game this season. See the Sea Eagles team here
