The big stage awaits the Manly Leagues team at Brookvale this Saturday in the Ron Massey Cup.
In a rare opportunity for the Manly Leagues team, they will take to the hallowed turf of 4 Pines Park in the curtain raiser to the NRL game between the Sea Eagles and the Broncos.
It could just be the motivation Manly Leagues needs against the Hills Bulls, with the Sea Eagles team still chasing their first win of the season in the round seven match.
Lock Kylan Mafoa, second-rower Lachoneus Paki and prop Nicholas Bilsborough come into the side and will provide some added punch to the pack.
Bilsborough returns to the Ron Massey Cup after making his NSW Cup debut for the Sea Eagles a fortnight ago.
He was again impressive in his second game last week for Manly.
Bilsborough’s promotion from the Ron Massey Cup is testament to the Sea Eagles Club’s Pathways program that was designed to provide a platform for local young players to work their way through the grades.
Manly Leagues will need to show a major improvement against the Bulls after conceding 50 points in their last two games.
The Bulls had 60 points put on them last week but scored 50 points in their last win a fortnight ago. They sit just four points ahead of the Sea Eagles on the ladder.
Kick off at 4 Pines Park is 5pm.
