Team Update: NRL Round 9 vs Panthers

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles squad has been trimmed to 20 players ahead of Sunday's Round 9 match against the Panthers at CommBank Stadium, Parramatta.

Dropping out of the squad in the 24-hour update are Jamal Fogarty and Simione Laiafi.

Fogarty has been ruled out after picking up a minor groin strain in last Sunday's ANZAC Round win against the Eels.

Joey Walsh will slot into halfback for his first NRL game of the season. The 19-year-old local junior made his NRL debut for Manly in last season's Round 27 victory over the Warriors at 4 Pines Park and has played six games this season in the NSW Cup.

The squad will be cut to 19 players 90 minutes before kick-off.
