Sea Eagles embrace Roosters challenge in Tarsha Gale Cup

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will get an early test of where they stand ahead of the Tarsha Gale Cup finals with a big clash at 4 Pines Park this Saturday.

The fourth-placed Sea Eagles take on the second-placed Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy at 4pm at 4 Pines Park, Brookvale, just two weeks out from the finals. The top six teams contest the U19 women's finals.

The Sea Eagles remain undefeated this season, recording four wins and two draws from their six matches. Some of Manly's biggest wins include a 52-0 victory over St George and 52-6 over Souths.

The Roosters have won six of their seven matches, including three big wins (60-0 Wests Tigers, 62-0 St George Dragons, 58-0 Penrith). It will be their last match before the finals with a bye next weekend.

“It's a big challenge. The Roosters are defending premiers and have won this title multiple times in succession. They are a good, tidy football side,'' said Sea Eagles Coach Keith Hanley .

“Our team continues to work hard and strive to improve at every opportunity we get.

“We are really looking forward to this contest.”
