Field goal milestone for Daly Cherry-Evans

When Daly Cherry-Evans landed his field goal at 4 Pines Park on Sunday, he did more than just secure victory for the Sea Eagles.

With Manly leading 20-14 over the Sydney Roosters, the experienced half-back and captain showed his class and experience with a 71st minute field goal to give the Sea Eagles a match-winning seven point lead.

It was Cherry-Evans' 27th field goal of his career, and in doing so, he entered the record books for the most field goals in the NRL era since 1998.
