Manly Warringah Sea Eagles’ Round 18 home game v Newcastle Knights at 4 Pines Park, Brookvale, will see the Club recognise and celebrate 26 consecutive years of partnership together with Premier Partner United Resource Management (URM).

The Round 18 home game on Saturday 16 July 2022 will be the annual URM Community Round, where the Sea Eagles will wear special URM community inspired jerseys, featuring the URM logo prominently across the main front.

Replica URM community jerseys will also be available for Sea Eagles Members and supporters to purchase.

The design of the special jerseys for URM Community Round really highlights URM’s amazing long-term commitment and support of not only the Sea Eagles, but the wider Northern Beaches community.

Daly Cherry-Evans Sea Eagles Captain

“Anthony, David and the URM team have a genuine passion for actively supporting the communities in which they operate and we are just one of many beneficiaries of this.”

Unveiled for the first time today, the special URM community jerseys feature the maroon and white heritage base of the Sea Eagles traditional home jersey, mixed with a ‘beachy’ theme, incorporating plenty of blue (representing the ocean) and also featuring silhouettes of iconic Manly beach, Manly ferry and 4 Pines Park, Brookvale.

In line with URM’s focus on sustainability, the jerseys are manufactured with Dynasty Sport’s environmentally-friendly Ecotek fabric, made from ethically sourced, recycled plastic bottles. On average, there are thirty-eight plastic bottles in each jersey.

‘NORTHERN BEACHES’ features across the outside back of the collar with ‘COMMUNITY 26’ subtly recognising URM’s twenty-six-year community-focused commitment to the Sea Eagles inside the collar of the jerseys.

Our 26 consecutive years of sponsorship with the Sea Eagles has always been based on a commitment to the local community.

Anthony Johnston URM Managing Director

“We’re very pleased to highlight this through the design of the special jerseys as we look forward to celebrating URM Community Round back at Brookvale.”

COVID impacted on a number of ’25 Years UNITED’ initiatives originally planned for last year, but URM and the Sea Eagles are set to more than make up for this with a big URM Community Round planned for Saturday 16 July 2022 at 4 Pines Park.

URM remains committed as a Premier Partner of the Sea Eagles to at least the end of the 2024 season, which will be the twenty-eighth consecutive year of partnership together.
