Sea Eagles proud to support Men of League Christmas event

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles were delighted to attend a special Men of League Christmas event on Friday, December 7.

Sea Eagles players Brad Parker, Brendan Elliot, and Cade Cust proudly represented the Club at the Northern Sydney Committee Christmas Club Kick-off event held at the North Narrabeen Surf Life Saving Club.

In between mingling with past footballers and their families, the Sea Eagles players spoke about their league backgrounds and how pre-season training is going under Coach Des Hasler.

Men of League Northern Sydney was established in August 2010 with Noel Kelly as Patron and Neil Whittaker as President.

Their main aim was to engage with as many of the existing 500 Men of League members in an area that takes in from North Sydney to Berowra and across to Palm Beach, and also to begin a working Welfare Committee.

The Committee holds several Kick-Off Club events each year as well as its annual Bowls and Golf Days. Men of League Northern Sydney now has an affiliation with Manly, North Sydney and Asquith Leagues and Dee Why RSL clubs.

The Sea Eagles thank the friendly people from the Northern Sydney Committee and look forward to supporting them again in 2019.
