One of Manly's rising young forwards will get a taste of international rugby league in the coming weeks.

Sean Vaivelata, a local junior from the Beacon Hill Bears Club, will represent the Australian Schoolboys on a five-match tour of England.

Manly NRL Head Coach Des Hasler congratulated Sean on his selection.

"Sean has come through our Elite Pathways Program and has represented Manly in the Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions,'' Hasler said.

"He is in our U20s squad for 2019. Sean is a very strong lock who is solid in defence. He is always willing to learn and to develop his skills.

"We believe he is a player who can reach the NRL level and is certainly one to watch.

"This is a great accolade and honour for Sean to represent not only the Australian Schoolboys, but also his country. We wish him all the best for the tour."

Australia will play England Colleges (Nov 25), Yorkshire Academy (Nov 28), Lancashire Academy (Dec 1) in warm-up games before playing Test Matches against England Academy on December 8 and 14.
