For the second week in a row the footy returns to Brookie.  The Sea Eagles are looking to go back to back after a nervy two point win over the Melbourne Storm.  Last week pitted to old rivals against each other, Brett Stewart and Billy Slater.

The Prince of Brookvale prevailed once again at the Fortress, bagging two tries making him the all time leader for tries at Brookvale Oval for Manly.  Yet, this week’s clash against the Bulldogs carries and even big challenge for the Manly stalwart.

Brett Morris has been on top of his game for a number of years now.  Moving from St George Illawarra to Canterbury this season, the NSW Blues representative has started the 2015 season with a bang in the fullback spot.

These speedsters are in top form and will certainly be looking to fill the void left by Jarrod Hayne at fullback in this year’s series.

Last week, Stewart had to contend with the trickery of Slater.  This week, he will have to handle the raw pace of Morris, which has already bagged him three tries this year, including a 80 metre effort against Penrith.

But, Stewart is one of the best defenders in the league and arguably the finest one on one tackler in the NRL.  His tackle on, Marika Koroibete, was another highlight of his great performance on Saturday night.

Stewart will have added incentive to perform this week, only needing three tries to become Manly’s all time leading try scorer, however Morris has a strong try scoring record against Manly, claiming seven tries.

So on Friday night, it’s the battle of the Brett’s. The cunning and guile of Stewart versus the blistering speed of Morris.

It’s worth the price of admission alone, so make sure you are there on Friday Night at the Fortress
