Manly made an ideal start to the contest, opening the scoring in the ninth minute through an amazing putdown off a grubber kick for Oscar Crotty.
Crotty was able to add the extras from the sideline getting the Sea Eagles off to an early 6-0 start.
An error off the restart saw the Tigers respond five minutes later when Jack Nicholas crossed for the home side's first try of the match.
The Tigers struck again in the 31st minute through Maxwell Taotua, whose try put the Tigers ahead to a 10-6 lead after missing the conversion.
The lead changed hands again shortly after when Quinn Timperon crossed down the sideline for Manly's second try in the 38th minute.
Crotty's sideline conversion was successful, putting the Sea Eagles back in front before the break.
Sea Eagles led 12-10 at halftime.
The match took a turn in favour of the Sea Eagles early in the second half when Tigers forward Kanitieti Sikahele was sent to the sin bin in the 41st minute.
Manly capitalised immediately with Zaidas Muagututia crossing just two minutes later beside the uprights. Crotty converted to extend the visitors' lead to 18-10.
The Tigers managed the sin bin period well, conceding only the one try.
With 13 back on the field, the Tigers swung momentum back in their favour with tries in the 55th and 67th minute, taking them out to a 20-18 lead.
Back to back tries saw the Tigers stretch their advantage further when Christian Taupau-Moors crossed in the 70th minute. Deininger's conversion pushed the lead out to 26-18 with less than ten minutes remaining.
Manly refused to give up and Beau Alexander scored a nice individual try in the 77th minute. Crotty maintained his perfect afternoon from the tee with his fourth conversion setting up a grand stand finish.
Tigers were up by just two points with two minutes remaining.
Any hopes of a Sea Eagles comeback were put to bed when Taupau-Moors grabbed his second try of the afternoon in the 80th minute to seal a 32-24 victory for the home team.
Next up for the Sea Eagles is a home clash against the Bulldogs at 4 Pines Park on the 27th of June as they look to bounce back from a hard-fought defeat.
