Manly Leagues will be hoping for a much-improved defensive performance to secure their first win of the season in round three of the Ron Massey Cup this Saturday.
The Sea Eagles suffered a 32-4 loss to Brothers Penrith last weekend following a 32-6 loss to Wentworthville Magpies in round one.
It has been a hard start for the Sea Eagles after they were promoted to the Ron Massey Cup following their premiership success last year in the third tier Sydney Shield competition.
A 10-team competition, the Ron Massey Cup is the state’s second-tier competition that feeds into the NSW Cup.
Manly tackle the Bulldogs at Hammondville Oval with both teams desperate for their first. The Bulldogs lost 26-18 to Mounties in round one and 30-10 to Workers last weekend.
The Bulldogs sit ninth on the ladder with Manly Leagues 10th.
Kick-off on Saturday is 5.45pm.
