Manly Warringah Sea Eagles suffered a 44-20 loss to the Sydney Roosters in Round 4 of the Jersey Flegg Cup at Narrabeen on Sunday.

The Sea Eagles played strongly in the first half to lead 20-8 at half-time but then conceded 36 unanswered points in the second half.
Talented young Manly half Charlie Boyle continued his fine form when he took on the line to spin his way over for a 6-0 lead after four minutes.
The Sea Eagles went to a 12-0 lead after 10 minutes when hooker Billy Thompson produced a classic show and go to cross next to the posts.
The Roosters got back to 10-4 when winger Kade Maguire crossed before Manly stretched their lead to 18-4 after centre Mitchell Heather was on the end of a great cut out pass from half-back Cameron Robertson.
Boyle converted a penalty goal to give the Sea Eagles some breathing space at 20-4 after 32 minutes. The Roosters then crossed through full-back Rex Bassingthwaighte to leave the visitors trailing 20-8 at half-time.
Manly got off to a terrible start to the second half, conceding three tries in 10 minutes to trail 22-20.
The Roosters went to a 26-20 lead after 58 minutes after captain and centre Zac Sarfati finished off a fine attacking play on the right to score out wide.
Bassingthwaighte grabbed his second try three minutes later when he backed up a break through the middle for a 32-20 scoreline.
Two more tries in six minutes, including a third to Maguire, saw the Roosters go out to a 44-20 lead after 74 minutes.
Manly now play Fiji Silktails at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation, Narrabeen, on Saturday, April 4, at 1pm.
