Team List: NRL Round 2 vs Knights

Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has named a 22-man squad for Sunday’s match against the Newcastle Knights in Round 2 of the Telstra NRL Premiership at 4 Pines Park.

The injury-forced absence of Siua Taukeiaho sees one change to the Sea Eagles’ starting side with Kobe Hetherington elevated to the front row.

Taukeiaho is expected to miss just the one match after suffering a minor calf injury against the Raiders last weekend.

Paul Bryan comes onto the bench after being cut from the extended squad in Round 1 and will make his Manly debut against his former club.

The 23-year-old prop is in line to become Sea Eagle #667 when he runs out against the Knights, the club he made his NRL debut with last season.

Bryan joined the Sea Eagles late last year and scored a try in his first game for the Club in the NSW Cup victory over the Raiders last Saturday.

Simione Laiafi has been named in the extended squad after sitting out last weekend due to HIA protocol, as have Josh Feledy and Jackson Shereb, who both joined the Club this season.

The Sea Eagles and Knights will be playing for the Malcolm Reilly Challenge Trophy.

The Sea Eagles will also play the Knights at 4 Pines Park on Sunday in the Jersey Flegg Cup (12:00pm) and the NSW Cup (1:45pm) with gates opening at 11:00am.
