Team List: NRL Round 1 vs Raiders

Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has named a 22-man squad for Saturday night’s 2026 season-opener against the Canberra Raiders at 4 Pines Park.

A new captain and a new halfback will feature in a largely unchanged lineup from last season as the Sea Eagles embark on their 2026 campaign.

The team is also bolstered by extra size in the middle with the return of key forwards Taniela Paseka and Haumole Olakau’atu, who both missed a large chunk of last season through injury.

Jamal Fogarty will play his first game for Manly against his former club, partnered by Luke Brooks in the halves, with 19-year-old local junior Joey Walsh earning a place on the bench.

Like Fogarty, Kobe Hetherington will also make his Manly debut, with other newcomers Blake Wilson (winger) and Paul Bryan (prop) included in the extended squad.

Missing is 19-year-old prop Simione Laiafi (HIA Protocol) following a head knock in training last week.

Fogarty will become Sea Eagle #664 with Hetherington in line to become Sea Eagle #665.
