Manly Warringah Sea Eagles would like to congratulate Kellie Pethybridge and Kristy Turnbull for representing the Club in Women in League Round.
The Sea Eagles play the Sharks on Mother’s Day in this year’s Women in League Round, with a bumper crowd expected at 4 Pines Park on Sunday.
Harvey Norman Women in League Round is an NRL initiative which celebrates the women playing crucial roles at every level of the Rugby League community.
Kellie, who is General Manager, People & Culture, Community and Special Projects, was selected by fellow staff to represent the club in Women in League Round; to showcase the influential role she plays at the Sea Eagles.
Kellie has been in and around rugby league all her life. Her father Gary played about 100 first grade games in the 70’s, as did her brother Scott, in the 90’s.
Now in her 17th season working in the game, Kellie began her career in rugby league administration working as an Event Manager for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
I share this recognition with everyone who makes our Club such a special place to work.
Kellie Pethybridge
“I feel fortunate to work alongside people who genuinely care about what they do and who support each other every day. That’s what makes coming to work so rewarding."
Kristy, who is Partnerships Manager at the Sea Eagles, has been chosen to be part of the Women in League Round Mentorship Program.
Now in her seventh season with the Sea Eagles, Kristy has been identified as a high-performing female leader who has demonstrated a keen desire for continued growth.
I am both grateful and excited to have been chosen for this mentoring program.
Kristy Turnbull
“This is a wonderful opportunity, and I know that I will benefit immensely from this experience.”
Manly CEO Tony Mestrov has congratulated Kellie and Kristy for being chosen to represent the Club.
“These two ladies embody the values that make this club great - loyalty, teamwork, and an unwavering passion for success both on and off the field.
We’re so proud to have so many talented women contributing across various departments at the Sea Eagles.
