Here are Lachlan's favourite moments playing at the 'Fortress'.

1: Rd 7, 2019: Manly 24 d Canberra 20

“I came back from an ACL injury against the Raiders. It was a beautiful afternoon at Brookvale and I crossed for two tries against my old club. This game meant everything to me.  Seeing my family after the game, Mum and Dad were crying as they knew how tough the road back was after a 12-month rehab. That game has been the highlight of my career thus far, even including my NRL debut. It was way better than all of that, so that was a really special moment for my family."

“It was my first home game at Brookvale. I was playing five-eighth, and we flogged Parramatta in about 45 degrees. I scored my first try for Manly. It was one of the most enjoyable games I’ve ever been involved in. We had a few beers afterwards to celebrate the win, so it was a really good day."

3: Rd 18, 2023: Manly 18 d Sydney Roosters 16

“In the context of the season, and where everything was at for the team, it was a big game. It was a match we really had to win. The Roosters bashed us the whole game. To defend that last set on our try line the way we did in the final minute was really cool. It was such a relief when big Christian (Tuipulotu) knocked the ball dead in the final seconds for us to win the game. Our fans were amazing, people were screaming from everywhere. That was such a relief to get the win, and a cool one to walk around the ground afterwards."

4: Rd 27, 2023: Manly 54 d Wests Tigers 12

“It was Jake Trbojevic's 200th NRL game. There was such a big build up to the game, given how much Jake is loved here at Manly. It was such a special game with Jake crossing for a try and Tolu Koula putting on a real clinic. It looked like Tolu had spiders on him as no one could touch him. Seeing guys like Tolu and Jason Saab, athletes of our game, scoring two tries each, and the way they scored them, it was just such a pleasure to watch on from the middle."
