Gordon Willoughby Medallion winner Daly Cherry-Evans as voted on by Manly Members

Manly Sea Eagles half-back and captain Daly Cherry-Evans was a very popular winner of the 2023 Gordon Willoughby Medallion.

Gordon Willoughby played 130 games for Manly before serving as an administrator for the football club, where he held the roles as a delegate to the NSWRL, club vice president, and chairman of the board of directors.

Following his passing in 2005, the Sea Eagles named the Members award in his honour.

The Gordon Willoughby Medallion is awarded to the player judged by Manly Members to be the ‘best player’ for the season.

The scores are collated by the Sea Eagles Membership team each week with the total tallied at the end of the regular season.

Cherry-Evans has now won the Gordon Willoughby Medallion a record four times after claiming the award in 2013, 2020 and 2022.

Brett Stewart and Jake Trbojevic are three time winners of the Gordon Willoughby Medallion

Tom Trbojevic was the last Manly player to win the Gordon Willoughby Medallion outside of Cherry-Evans following his phenomenal 2021 season.
