Judiciary news: Dean Matterson

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Dean Matterson has been charged with a Careless High Tackle following Thursday night's loss to the Panthers at 4 Pines Park.

The tackle on Liam Martin in the 41st minute resulted in Matterson being put on report and the subsequent Grade 1 charge carries a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea.

As Matterson is a development list player with the Sea Eagles, he is entitled to either opt for a monetary fine or serve a one-match suspension in lieu of paying the monetary fine.
