Blow....Matthew Lodge went down with a knee injury early in the game.

Here is the latest injury news for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles heading into the Round 24 match against the Penrith Panthers.

An MRI scan has confirmed an ACL rupture in the right knee of prop Matthew Lodge. He will undergo surgery this week and commence early stage rehab once he has recovered.

Winger Christian Tuipulotu suffered a grade two MCL injury against the Dragons in Wollongong. He continues to work on his strength and build to return to running while his MCL is healing. Christian's knee will be assessed weekly to determine when he is fit to return to play.

Second-rower Karl Lawton reinjured his left shoulder against the Dragons in the NSW Cup two weeks ago. He is booked in for surgery in the coming week and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Prop Josh Aloiai underwent successful right shoulder reconstructive surgery last week and will recover in a sling for a period of four weeks before he commences specific rehab work.

Prop Taniela Paseka underwent a successful MCL repair operation two weeks ago after rupturing his right knee against Cronulla. He is progressing as expected and has commenced lower body strength work around his knee. The standard recovery time is six weeks.

Tom Trbojevic continues to progress well following surgery for a torn pec and is continuing to restore shoulder range and strength.
