New look spine for Sea Eagles in SG Ball

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will field a new look spine against the Parramatta Eels at 4 Pines Park on Saturday, March 18, in round seven of the SG Ball Cup.

“With our recent spate of injuries, we will see a new spine and winger this weekend,’’ said Manly Coach Brett Fulton.

“I am expecting the new boys to make the most of the opportunity provided.

“We are looking forward to playing the Eels. It’s always a hard fought game.”

Full-back Lehi Hopoate has moved to five-eighth to partner new half Jake Fulton. Josh Clark shifts from half to full-back with Broden Konz replacing Fulton at hooker.

The Sea Eagles will be looking to bounce back from a 30-22 loss to St George Dragons at Mascot Oval last Saturday.

The Sea Eagles ran in four tries through half-back Josh Clark, winger Maxwell Taotua, second-rower Mitchell Taotua and Mant. Clark kicked three goals.
