Matt Orford returns as Sea Eagles Development Coach

One of Manly's favourite sons, Matt Orford, has returned to the Club to take up the position of Sea Eagles U16s Development Coach for 2023.

Orford played 109 first grade games for Manly and was captain of the club's 2008 premiership winning team that beat Melbourne Storm 40-0 in the Grand Final.

As coach of the U16 development team, Orford will work with a squad full of talented young rugby league players from clubs across the Manly Warringah District Junior Rugby League.

The Manly U16 development team will play matches against fellow development sides from four Sydney clubs, starting with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at HE Laybutt Field, Blacktown, on Saturday, March 4, at 12pm.

The Sea Eagles will then tackle the St George Dragons, Parramatta Eels, and South South Sydney Rabbitohs.
