Tom Trbojevic enjoying working with Bill Knowles

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Anthony Seibold says Tom Trbojevic is relishing the chance to learn from one of the world’s renowned reconditioning specialist in Bill Knowles.

With the support of Sea Eagles Premium Partner, Shaw and Partners Financial Services, Trbojevic is spending two weeks with Knowles to help recondition his body, especially his hamstrings.

Having already completed 10 sessions in Philadelphia last week, Trbojevic will undergo 10 more sessions with Knowles this week before returning to Sydney.

“Tom is loving the opportunity. It has been much published about Latrell (Mitchell) going there but it’s not just Latrell, it’s athletes from all over the world who have approached Bill and wanted the opportunity to be coached by him in that reconditioning phase,’’ Seibold said.

“For us to have Tom over there and experience elite coaching in that field is outstanding for us.

“We have got our Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Andrew Lowndes over there as well and he is learning plenty of things.

“Tom is an integral part of our team. He is one of our leaders and is one of the best players in the NRL.

“The more Tom plays for Manly, the more opportunity we feel as though we can have success this season.

“Tom knows that he is doing the work not just for the short term but for the longer term. It is a fantastic experience over there.”

Trbojevic spent part of his weekend off catching up with Sea Eagles owner and chairman, Scott Penn as well as visiting the Philadelphia Eagles NFL Club ahead of their play-off game.
