Sea Eagles re-sign Reuben Garrick for four years

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have re-signed Reuben Garrick on a new four-year deal.

Off contract at the end of 2023, Garrick is a key re-signing for the Sea Eagles with his ability to play full-back, wing and centre, as well as being one of the NRL’s best goal-kickers.

He will now remain at Manly until the end of the 2027 season.

“Reuben is a very important player at Manly and we are thrilled to have secured his services for a further four years,’’ said Sea Eagles CEO, Tony Mestrov.

“He is well respected by his team-mates. Reuben is a very professional and dedicated athlete who we see as a natural leader amongst our playing squad.”

Garrick has become a record-breaking player for Manly since making his NRL debut for the Sea Eagles against the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval in the opening round of the 2019 season.

He has scored 55 tries and kicked 284 goals for 788 points in 91 matches.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2021 in his third year at Manly, finishing as the NRL’s Top Point Scorer and Dally M Winger of the Year.

In doing so, Garrick set a new club record for 'Most Points in a Season' with 334 points from 23 tries and 121 goals in 27 games.
