Sea Eagles news: Haumole Olakau'atu

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Haumole Olakau'átu will miss this Friday night's match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Central Coast Stadium.

The Sea Eagles have accepted the early plea for Olakau'atu after he was charged with a careless high tackle in the match against Cronulla Sutherland Sharks last Thursday.

An unsuccessful appeal at the NRL judiciary would have seen Olakau'atu miss two games.

It's a big loss for the Sea Eagles with the boom second-rower scoring five tries in seven matches this season.

Olakau'atu will be available for selection for the round nine home game against the Wests Tigers at 4 Pines Park on Saturday, May 7.
