Against The Odds: Sea Eagles vs Sharks

We take a look at one of the classic Manly Warringah Sea Eagles victories against the Cronulla Sutherland Shark in our ‘Against The Odds’ series.

The two clubs will do battle this Thursday night at PointsBet Stadium, Cronulla.

Round 21, 2018, Shark Park

When it comes to clutch plays, this was one of the best from Daly Cherry-Evans.

The outstanding half landed a left foot field goal (yes, left foot!) to give the Sea Eagles a thrilling 33-32 victory in Golden Point.

Trailing 32-26 after 75 minutes, Cherry-Evans sent  second-rower Joel Thompson over off a well-placed grubber kick to level the scores.
