Rd 22 Injury Update

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles prop Taniela Paseka will not require surgery on a syndesmosis injury suffered against the Melbourne Storm last Saturday night.

“The good news is that Taniela does not need an operation on his ankle,’’ said Sea Eagles Head Physiotherapist James Rahme.

“His injury can take up to a month to recover. We are hoping to get him back sooner.

“We are hoping that it settles down throughout the week so we can get him moving again.

“The sooner we get him moving, we can hopefully beat that month mark and get Taniela back in 2-3 weeks, but we won’t know until the end of the week.”
