Rd 15, 1951: Jack Lumsden and Gordon Willoughby scored two tries each in Manly’s 27-23 loss to Western Suburbs Magpies at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Rd 17, 1956: Western Suburbs half-back Keith Holman scored a double in the 17-12 win over Manly at Pratten Park.
Rd 16, 1962: North Sydney beat Manly 13-2 at North Sydney Oval.
Rd 19, 1974: Bob Fulton, Rod Jackson, Max Krilich and Phil Lowe crossed for tries in Manly’s 23-16 win over Canterbury-Bankstown at Brookvale Oval. Graham Eadie kicked five goals.
Rd 20, 1979: Western Suburbs beat Manly 21-13 at Lidcombe Oval. Russel Gartner and Stephen Knight scored for the Sea Eagles.
Rd 23, 1984: Phil Blake and Kerry Boustead scored for Manly in their 16-12 loss to Canberra Raiders at Seiffert Oval.
Rd 22, 1985: Centre Dale Shearer (below) scored a double for Manly in the 17-2 win over Canberra Raiders at Brookvale Oval.
Rd 19, 1989: Craig Hancock and Darrell Williams scored in Manly’s 14-12 loss to North Sydney. The Bears got home on the back of field goals to Clayton Friend and Tony Rea.
Rd 19, 1991: Full-back Matthew Ridge kicked five goals from six attempts and a field goal in the 15-0 win over North Sydney at North Sydney Oval. Second-rower Ian Roberts scored Manly’s lone try.
Rd 22, 2012: Five-eighth Kieran Foran scored a try and captain Jamie Lyon kicked two goals in Manly’s 8-6 win over the Nth Qld Cowboys in Townsville after the Sea Eagles led 6-0 at half-time.
