Sea Eagles re-sign Reuben Garrick

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are pleased to announce the re-signing of exciting young winger Reuben Garrick.

The 21-year-old has agreed to a new two-year deal with the Club until the end of 2021 after joining the Sea Eagles last November.

Garrick has been a revelation on the wing this season under Coach Des Hasler after making his NRL debut for Manly in the opening round. He scored all of Manly’s points in last night’s 18-10 win over Canterbury at Lottoland. Garrick has crossed for five tries in eight games.

“I’m just loving every moment of my time at the Sea Eagles. The Club gave me an opportunity to play in the NRL and I am extremely excited that they have now re-signed me for a further two years,’’ Garrick said.

“Everyone at Manly has made me feel really welcomed. It is an exciting time to be at the Sea Eagles and I look forward to further developing my game under Des and the great coaching staff at Manly.”

Sea Eagles Coach Des Hasler said it was a great re-signing for the Club.

“Reuben worked extremely hard in the pre-season to push his claims for an NRL starting spot and he has certainly risen to the occasion,’’ Hasler said.

“He is a very talented player who has a great future at Manly and his re-signing is wonderful news for our Club.”
