The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Downer Group to become the Presenting Partner of the Sea Eagles Christchurch ‘home’ game v NZ Warriors in March.
As Presenting Partner, Downer branding will appear across the top back of the Sea Eagles special Māori jerseys to be worn for the Christchurch game.
In addition to having a strong presence and involvement on match day, Downer will also be involved with community events and engagement in Christchurch throughout the lead-up to this match.

“At Downer, we have a strong commitment to Aotearoa and this game is about engaging positively with the communities in which we work.
“Downer works closely with the development of Māori in our business including Te Ara Whanake, our leadership development program, and I know our teams will be looking forward to a great game of footy when the Sea Eagles play the Warriors,” added Mr Fenn.
Over 17,300 fans attended the Sea Eagles ‘home’ game against NZ Warriors at Christchurch Stadium back in June this year with an even bigger crowd now expected for the return of this game in March.
“Season 2019 will be our second year playing a home game in Christchurch and we are looking forward to building further on our commitment to the region and the amazing support we have already established there in Christchurch,” said Sea Eagles CEO, Mr Lyall Gorman.
“To attract such a strong and established organisation such as Downer as our Presenting Partner in just our second year visiting Christchurch, is something we are very proud of and an opportunity we are very much looking forward to sharing with Downer,” added Mr Gorman.
