NSW honours for Jake and Tom Trbojevic

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players Jake and Tom Trbojevic have tonight been named in the NSW Blues Origin team for Game One of the 2018 Holden State of Origin Series.

Jake has been chosen on the interchange bench for the opening match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on June 6 in what will be his fourth game for the Blues after making his NSW debut in last year's series.

Tom will make his NSW debut on the wing after the Manly full-back was named as an additional player in the Blues squad last season.

The proud Manly juniors, who hail from the Mona Vale Raiders JRL Club, have been in strong form this season for the Sea Eagles.

It will be a special night at the MCG for the Trbojevic family, who were all in the stands to watch Jake make his Origin debut at Suncorp Stadium last year.

Just two years ago, Jake and Tom were part of the NSW Emerging Blues squad. Both represented Australia in last year's Rugby League World Cup. Jake made his Kangaroos debut in the Four Nations tournament in 2016.

For his efforts last year, Jake received the NSWRL True Blue Award and the People's Choice Award in recognition of his superb performances for NSW.
