Manly lose 38-6 in Jersey Flegg

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles suffered a 38-6 loss to Parramatta Eels at Lottoland today in round two of the NSWRL Jersey Flegg competition.

The heavy loss came on the back of an opening round 58-10 loss to Newcastle at Cessnock last Saturday.

Parramatta ran in five first half tries to lead 26-0 at half-time in a dominant first half.

Prop Oregon Kaufusi opened the scoring with a converted try for a 6-0 lead after 19 minuted before winger Taufa Afu crossed for his first for a 10-0 lead.

Fellow winger Michael Cheer crossed for a try for a 14-0 lead before lock Michael Tupou scored under the posts for an 18-0 lead. Brown converted for a 20-0 scoreline.

Hooker Reed Mahoney dived over from dummy half for a 26-0 lead at half-time.

The Eels went to a 32-0 lead when Afu scored his second try before Manly opened their account when lock Jordan Main scored under the posts. Luke Metcalf converted for a 32-6 scoreline.

Tupou scored his second try for the 38-6 scoreline at full-time.
