Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Trent Barrett has named his side to play Cronulla Sharks in a trial match at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Saturday, February 17.
Barrett has rested captain Daly Cherry-Evans and several of his World Cup players including Jake Trbojevic, Tom Trbojevic, Martin Taupau, Apisai Koroisau, and Akuila Uate for the team's first trial match for 2018.
Former South Sydney back-rower Jack Gosiewski and Warriors prop Toafofoa Sipley will pull on the Sea Eagles jersey for the first time.
The Manly side to play the Sharks comprises of a mixture of experienced NRL and Intrust players as well as several exciting youngsters from last year’s premiership winning U20s team.
Prop Darcy Lussick has been named Manly captain.
Manly will play the Sydney Roosters in their final trial match at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday, February 24.
The Sea Eagles will launch their 2018 season with a Fan Day at Lottoland for Members and supporters on Sunday, February 25.
