The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will play four of their first eight premiership matches at Lottoland in 2018.
The Sea Eagles open their premiership campaign against Newcastle Knights away on Friday, March 9, before tackling arch-rivals Parramatta Eels at Lottoland in round two on Sunday, March 18.
The major points of Manly’s draw are:
- Lottoland games again being allocated for either a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in family friendly afternoon and early evening timeslots. Only one home game has been allocated on a Thursday night.
- Five home games at Lottoland against Sydney teams Parramatta Eels, Wests Tigers, Sydney Roosters, Penrith Panthers, and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
- Playing Brisbane, Parramatta, Newcastle, Penrith, Canberra, Sydney Roosters, Melbourne, Wests Tigers, and Gold Coast Titans twice.
- Playing the NZ Warriors in a home game at AMI Stadium, Christchurch, on Saturday, June 9, over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend. The Sea Eagles have committed to playing a home match in Christchurch for at least the next two years.
- Playing the Brisbane Broncos in a home game at Suncorp Stadium in the third annual Brisbane Double Header.
- Playing Premiers Melbourne Storm at Lottoland on a Saturday evening.
- Playing five home matches in six weeks at Lottoland from Rounds 18 to 23.
- Four home games being broadcast on free-to-air Channel Nine, with three of those matches being played on a Sunday afternoon.
