Frank Winterstein spoke to the media at the club’s training facilities in Narrabeen this morning, reflecting on what has been an ‘adventurous’ year for the latest Sea Eagles recruit.

"It's been an adventurous year, I got back to Sydney from Japanese Rugby and started with the Aussie 7's program where I made a late bid to make the 2016 Olympic squad but unfortunately missed out, but it opened another door back to my Rugby League career with the Manly Sea Eagles," Winterstein said.

"I know a couple of the lads here, having played with a lot in the junior ranks, I’ve known Martin Taupau since I was about five years old and his body shape hasn't changed a bit."
