Half-back Daly Cherry-Evans has not declared his intentions to be the next captain of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Asked prior to training today would he like the ‘C’ letter next to his name after Jamie Lyon retires, Cherry-Evans said it was not his decision to make.

“You only have to look at the captains of the last one or two decades. We’ve had some fantastic captains at this club,’’ Cherry-Evans said.

“That’s not a decision I will make, but if it something that falls in my lap, I will be more than happy to take it on board.”
