Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Geoff Toovey is hoping Kieran Foran will make a return from a hamstring injury this Saturday night.
Toovey has named Foran to play the North Queensland Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium in Townsville in what will be the Sea Eagles’ 1500th first grade premiership match since entering the competition in 1947.
“Kieran has got to get through this week at training but he is a possible starter, so that is really important for us,’’ Toovey said.
“It is going to be very tough up there. They have won seven in a row but probability says we should win.
“Hopefully we can stop them from making it eight. We are pretty confident.”
Kick-off is 7.30pm.
