Hooker Matt Ballin says new signing Nate Myles will fit right into the culture at Manly Warringah in 2016.

The Queensland and Australian forward will leave the Gold Coast Titans at the end of this season to join the Sea Eagles on a three-year deal.

“It is a massive signing for the club, a player of his quality, and he is a great person too,’’ Ballin said, who played Origin with Myles in 2010.

“Nate is a genuine person and a great player. He will fit into the culture here. He is a leader, plays the game tough, and looks after his mates.

“He will add to our pack. Jake Trbojevic is playing some great footy. Josh Starling and Willie Mason are starting to come into their own.

“Our edges (Tom Symonds, Justin Horo) have been the best two players the last couple of weeks and Blake Leary had a great game on the weekend.

“With those guys and Nate coming into the pack next year, we will have a really strong forward pack.”

Trbojevic – the players’ player in the win over Newcastle – said he was excited about learning more about forward play from the experienced Myles.

“He is a great player who has played Origin and for Australia so he will be a welcome addition to our club,’’ Trbojevic said.

“You want to learn off players who have done it before.”
