Daly Cherry-Evans has been named at five-eighth for the Kangaroos’ must-win game against England on Sunday.

Cherry-Evans remains in doubt after sustaining a minor hip muscle tear during last Friday night’s Four Nations match against New Zealand.

The Manly ace playmaker will be given until kick-off to prove his fitness, with Brisbane’s Ben Hunt on stand-by in 18th man.

New Zealand coach Stephen Kearney named Kieran Foran (five-eighth) and Peta Hiku (fullback) for their clash against the Samoa.

Samoa’s Jesse Sene-Lefao and Dunamis Lui have also been named in coach Matt Parish’s side.
