Sea Eagles duo Kieran Foran and Peta Hiku have joined the Kiwis train-on squad ahead of next month’s Four Nations in Australia and New Zealand.
The pair was this morning named in coach Stephen Kearney’s squad after the Sea Eagles were eliminated from the competition following Saturday night’s golden point defeat to the Bulldogs.
Hiku and Foran bring the wider group to 28, while several more candidates are still alive in the NRL finals.
Hiku played at fullback in the Anzac Test loss to Australia in May and Foran has established himself as a virtually automatic selection in any Kiwis line-up.
