Star five-eighth Kieran Foran has called on the Sea Eagles to forget about last weekend's horror show and return to winning ways against an in-form Cronulla at Brookvale Oval this Sunday.

Foran and his team mates are licking their wounds after being mauled by a ferocious Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval last Sunday and the Kiwi international says they must avoid another ambush against the Sharks.

"It was a bit of a rude shock and not a great feeling after the game but it's just one of those ones you've got to put behind you and turn things around quickly, hopefully this Sunday.", said Foran.

Foran credited the return of halfback Jeff Robson for Cronulla's first win of the season against the Warriors and believes the Sea Eagles must limit his input or risk becoming the Sharks next victim.

"I think he makes a fairly big difference there. He gives them two attacking weapons on either side and they're alot more dangerous with Jeff Robson in the side."

The rivalry between the two clubs is one of the most famous in the NRL so Foran knows the Sea Eagles must bring their A-game if they're to their record their ninth win in ten meetings with the Sharks.

"They'll lift with the rivalry but also with the fact that they probably want to get back to back wins as well", he said.

"They're going to be fired up, ready to go. We just need to make sure that we come just as fired up as they do".
