ea Eagles recruits Cheyse Blair and Delroy Berryman have settled in nicely at their new club since arriving on the peninsula in November last year.

The Sea Eagles are preparing for a tough and busy February, with two trials and the Auckland Nines tournament to be played inside 15 days.

But it’s been business as usual at pre-season training, with both Blair and Berryman eager to impress coach Geoff Toovey ahead of the new season.

A beach boy at heart, Cheyse has settled in well into his new Collaroy home. He admits, he's thrilled to be back alongside the ocean and in his favoured surroundings.

“It’s been really good. I’m from the beaches, so it’s always good to get back to the beaches after being stuck in Parramatta for the last two years, it’s been a hot stinker out there,” Blair said.

Berryman, who is currently living with teammate Jesse Sene-Lefao, also agrees the northern beaches lifestyle is suiting him very well.

“I can jump over the street and I’m at the beach. I basically go there every day. Me and Jesse rock up there after training, so it’s a good lifestyle doing that,” Berryman said.
