Judiciary: Wakeham accepts one-match suspension

Brandon Wakeham will serve a one-game suspension after being charged for striking in the 2026 Rugby League World Cup.

Sea Eagles utility Brandon Wakeham will serve a one-game suspension after being charged with a Grade 2 Striking offence while representing Fiji in the Rugby League World Cup.

The incident occurred in the 52nd minute of the Round 3 match against New Zealand when Wakeham reacted to a careless high tackle by Ronaldo Mulitalo on his Fijian teammate Ronald Philitoga.

Both Wakeham and Mulitalo were sent from the field.

Wakeham has accepted the early guilty plea and will be forced serve a one-match suspension.
