A boost from VoltX Energy for Sea Eagles Community Partners

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles celebrated Community Round on Friday night in the final home game of the season against the St George Illawarra Dragons at 4 Pines Park.

As part of the celebrations, the Club recognised and thanked its vast network of charity partners who continue to make such a meaningful difference across our local community.

Thanks to the generosity of Premier Partner, VoltX Energy, the Sea Eagles’ charity partners enjoyed Friday’s game from the comfort of their own private suite, complete well-deserved game-day hospitality.

Kellie Pethybridge, General Manager – People & Culture, Community and Special Projects at the Sea Eagles, says it’s a terrific gesture from VoltX Energy to donate their own corporate hospitality entitlements.

“Our Charity Partners are such an important part of the Sea Eagles family and play an incredibly valuable role across our local catchment,” said Pethybridge.

“They are out there every day supporting people, creating opportunities and making a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Community Round is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate the great work they do, so thank you VoltX Energy.

Among those who enjoyed the experience was members of What Ability Foundation, with Wendy sharing her appreciation:

For VoltX Energy, the initiative is an opportunity to give back to the organisations that play such an important role in the Sea Eagles’ community.

The Sea Eagles’ Charity Partners represented at Friday night’s game included Youth Up Front, What Ability, RSL LifeCare, Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice, Bear Cottage, Sunnyfield, Street Mission, Women & Children First, Camp Quality, The Burdekin Association and Stewart House.

Community Round featured a range of initiatives including pre-game kids clinics, a junior rugby league relay at half time, with families invited to enter the field of play after full time.
