Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are proud to support our official Charity Partner for Friday night’s game against the Dolphins, Burdekin Youth Services.

Burdekin exists to empower young people to reach independence and build positive futures.

Since 1987, Burdekin Youth Services have supported children and young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness across the Northern Beaches and wider Sydney region.

Through safe housing, therapeutic care and practical support, we help young people build the skills, confidence and connections they need to lead empowered, independent lives.

You can help support Burdekin by taking part in our 50/50 Charity Raffle at Friday’s game.

Why Your Support Matters

The need for support has never been greater. While government funding helps provide essential services, it doesn't cover many of the opportunities, experiences and additional supports that help young people thrive.

Your support allows Burdekin to provide more than just a safe place to stay. It helps create opportunities for education, wellbeing, life skills, connection and independence. Most importantly, it gives young people hope and the confidence to build a brighter future.

Together, we can ensure every young person has the opportunity to feel safe, valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

 Burdekin's impact since 1987

  • Supported more than 9,000 young people at risk of homelessness.
  • Assisted over 35,000 additional young people through counselling, case management and community-based services.
  • Provided specialist therapeutic care to more than 550 children and young people who were unable to live safely with their families.
  • On any given night, 125 children and young people call a Burdekin home their home.

Together, we can ensure every young person has the opportunity to feel safe, valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
