Golden Eagles: Gifty & Snake at 4 Pines Park

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles legends Brett and Glenn Stewart will be the Club’s special guests on Saturday night when we welcome the Melbourne Storm to 4 Pines Park.

The Stewart brothers’ contributions helped shape one of the most successful eras in the Sea Eagles’ proud history spanning the first two decades of the 21st century.

A dual premiership-winning fullback, Brett Stewart is one of the greatest players ever to wear the maroon and white.

Affectionately known as "Snake", he dazzled fans with his speed, and uncanny ability to find the try line. Brett scored 163 tries across 233 first-grade games for Manly and is the Club's all-time leading try-scorer.

He played a pivotal role in the Sea Eagles' premiership triumphs in 2008 and 2011.  His biggest try tally was in the 2008 season with 22 tries in 24 games.  The 2006 season was pretty handy as well, with 21 tries from as many appearances.

Glenn, a year older than Brett, was a tireless lock forward whose skill, toughness and footy IQ made him one of the game's premier backrowers.
