Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are thrilled to announce Simione Laiafi has signed a new two-year deal with the Club.
The 19-year-old prop made his NRL debut off the bench in Round 4 this season after progressing through the Sea Eagles’ pathways teams in recent years.
A former Australian Schoolboys representative, Laiafi was elevated to the Club’s top 30 roster in 2026 after beginning last season in the SG Ball Cup.
Simione’s new deal will keep him at the Club until at least the end of the 2028 season.
“I am grateful to the Club for this new opportunity,” Laiafi said.
It is a wonderful group to be a part of, I love being here, and I have learnt so much in the past couple of years.

“I want to thank everyone who has helped me continue to develop as a player, and of course my parents for all their support over the years.
“Glory to God always.”
Interim head coach Kieran Foran is excited by what’s ahead for Laiafi.
“He’s got a big future, I’m confident of that,” said Foran.
“Simi has worked extremely hard over the past few years to earn this new opportunity.
He’s young, athletic, powerful, and keen to develop his craft.
