Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Caleb Navale is expected to miss the majority of the 2026 NRL season after suffering a serious knee injury today in training.
The 22-year-old lock is due to undergo surgery later this week to repair a ruptured ACL of his right knee.
Coach Anthony Seibold says it’s a huge blow for Caleb after such an impressive pre-season.
“We’re all feeling for Caleb at the moment,” Seibold said.
He’s had his best pre-season ever and was on track to be a regular in our match day lineup.

“I do know Caleb will throw everything he can into his rehab and the goal now is to get him back before the end of the season.”
Replacing Navale in the 20-man squad for Saturday’s Pre-season Challenge match in New Zealand is Manly Jersey Flegg player, Tom Summer.
Hugo Hart comes into the starting side in the second row with Corey Waddell shifting to lock, and Summer added to the bench in jersey No.21.
